Hemingfords United have a long and successful history. The club is over 100 years old, and has won many honours since being formed by the villages of Hemingford Abbots and Hemingford Grey in 1899. Hemingfords United have two pitches at the Hemingford Peace Memorial Playing Field. The first team play in the Cambridgeshire County League Kershaw Premier, the reserve team play in the Kershaw 1b League and the A team in the Kershaw 4c League.

The club currently has two colts teams playing at the Hemingford Pavilion and five Junior teams playing at Daintree Green.

On Sundays a veterans team (over 35s) play at the Pavilion.
