Tea Dances

If you love ballroom dancing come and join our merry crowd on the last Sunday of each month. It is held in the Haywood Hall from 14.00 to 16.30 with a 30 minutes break for tea, coffee and cakes, all included in the entrance fee.

The music is set up on an MP3 player and consists of ballroom dances only, with no sequence dances. Each hour of dancing comprises quicksteps, waltzes, foxtrots, cha cha cha, tango rumba and jives, as well as the occasional Viennese waltz. The atmosphere is very friendly and as well as the refreshments the bar is open to be able to purchase drinks.

We usually remind people of the upcoming dance about a week before the event, by email and they reply indicating attendance or not, so that we can provide sufficient seating and cakes at a cost of
